Look into the Abyss
I had a dream that SOPA would pass and the freedom to regulate would prevail.
I had a dream that my two grown children, living in my basement and the spare bedroom, would one day surf the Internets where they will not judge web pages by the color of their themes but by their lack of content.
I had a dream that books would be burned and e-book bytes would be erased. Not my books, but other books, the competition’s books, books by published writers hogging up all the shelf and memory card space.
I had a dream that I would become the SOPA Emperor of all the Internets. From the prodigious hills of soft porn sites to the rock bottom canyons of gambling. SOPA would ring.
From the babbling brooks of political blogs to the silent spring of newspaper sites. SOPA would ring.
I had a dream a week and two days ago.
I had a dream that one day, on Wikipedia, with its tedious administrators, with its owner having his lips dripping with the words of donation and freedom of information; one day right there on Wikipedia, two plus two would equal five, 9/11 would have been a Jewish plot, and David Hasselhof, as had been rumored, would be the Antichrist.
I had a dream a week and two days ago.
I had a dream that one day every kitten video would be extinguished, every open source project would be closed, the dynamic would be made static, and the social would be isolated, and the magnificence of my Internets Emperorship would be revealed, and all eyeballs would be forced to see the Abyss.
Of course in some Universes, my dream evaluates to true.
