Hyperminimalism in the visual arts.
Minimalism leaves the reader to take an active role in the creation of the story by filling in the blanks left by the author’s spare prose. Hyperminimalism leaves more blanks for the reader to fill, as in the following example:
Something happened. A man with glasses was involved.

@mastermister. Yes, you do have an interesting blog. I rather liked the tags/labels. @Margaret. My wife heard this on NPR. She came up with “Cellphone dead. Do I still exist?”
No, I meant THIS BLOG is interesting. (In my previous comment I should have put a full stop after “hunter” and capitalised the “i” in “interesting”.) I may be a shameless self-promoter but I would never preempt the opinion or judgement of my readers — both of them! Nor ever presume to instruct or dictate what people ought to think or feel. So, let me try again: I find this blog, unpublished guy’s blog, interesting (and useful re the writerly trade). (Of course I’m pleased you find Cosmic Rapture interesting. Thanks for stopping by.) MM
Had to let this spam through, because of all the gratitude due to the useful information on Hyperminimalism I provided. Ha.
Nice post about Xtreme Creative Writing Styles: Hyperminimalism. I am very impressed with the time and effort you have put into writing this story. I will give you a link on my social media blog. All the best!
