" I clicked on an advert on Facebook and came to your site. And proceeded to read through your entries like the creeper I sometimes am. I think you should just publish your blog entries. You know how "the Princess Diaries" got adapted for a movie. Yours would be so much better. (And sorry to compare you to such a worthless book.) Anyways, just a thought. " Read more

"Your Muse is clearly feeling passive-aggressive (what self-respecting Muse wouldn't, when forced to regurgitate Marketing copy for an enterprise software brochure?) - it's throwing things (like Spanish dictionaries) at you, hoping you'll notice and stop neglecting it or feeding it menudo. If you thought throwing it in the washer was a bad move, you really ought to read "Eradicating Edna," my unfinished NaNoNovel over on Scribd. Now THAT's Muse abuse!" Read more

"No, I meant THIS BLOG is interesting. (In my previous comment I should have put a full stop after "hunter" and capitalised the "i" in "interesting".) I may be a shameless self-promoter but I would never preempt the opinion or judgement of my readers -- both of them! Nor ever presume to instruct or dictate what people ought to think or feel. So, let me try again: I find this blog, unpublished guy's blog, interesting (and useful re the writerly trade). (Of course I'm pleased you find Cosmic Rapture interesting. Thanks for stopping by.) Room for Rent until I Publish

The unpublished life requires lots of sacrifice, and cash can get tight. To make ends meet until I get published and can live off royalty checks, I am renting out a room in my house. See classified below.

Unpublished Guy and his happy family offering to share their home, attractive 2-story 1940s bungalow! Immediate Occupancy! Three quarters of our family is easy going and easy to get along with. The house has lots of character with original hardwood floors and windows. Walking distance to cool city, downtown Ann Arbor.

Available unfurnished room is corner bedroom on second floor with windows facing east and south. Nice sunny atmosphere. Bedroom also has hardwood floors, a windows seat with a view of the giant maple in the front yard, and a closet. Walls and windows of the room have been artistically decorated by a sharpie pen and white-out with Latin phrases. Bipolar tweener daughter lives in the room's closet.

    • Dude, This looks more like a "time-out" corner than a writing space. Give yourself some room! And best of luck! At least you're blogging - I'm not even to that point. P.S. I published a story. can I still read your blog?!!! And thanks for having an intelligible verification code.

    • @Annie, you can still read my blog, even if you have published; however, your use of three exclamation points in a row is totally unacceptable. @Kerichi, it doesn't really matter, since my daughter has moved out of the closet so the bedroom is no longer available.
